Liverpool fans heaped praise on Jarrod Bowen’s performance for West Ham despite his team getting knocked out of the League Cup on Wednesday night.

Whilst those in Liverpool colours were celebrating a nail-biting yet memorable penalty shootout win against Leicester, it was a different story for Bowen and his West Ham team against Spurs.

Antonio Conte’s men opened the scoring in north London, before Bowen equalised with a brilliant first touch, turn and finish inside the penalty area.

That moment of brilliance impressed the Liverpool faithful, as David Moyes’s side went on to concede again not long after and lose the all-London affair 2-1.

Rumours have been rife, as reported by Eurosport, ahead of the January and summer transfer windows that the Reds want to purchase the £20 million flying forward (BBC Sport).

If Liverpool come knocking, then it will spell trouble for those at the London Stadium because they would find it hard to turn down a club of their size.

There’s no doubting that the Anfield faithful want him on board and it’s understandable why given his goal threat, ability to work in tight spaces and drive with the ball at speed.

Liverpool’s right-hand side is occupied by Mo Salah and it will be until he says so.

But it has been obvious for some while now that Jurgen Klopp needs more depth in that area.

Given that Bowen can play off the right, then he suits that role even more and he becomes more attractive to the fans and the Merseyside giants.

Either way, Bowen’s stock is continuing to rise and Liverpool fans are loving what they are seeing:
