Liverpool beat Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 on Saturday afternoon.

Jamie Redknapp has told the Daily Mail that Roberto Firmino was his top performer of the week in the Premier League, comparing the Liverpool forward to a hyena.
The unbeaten Reds travelled to face Tottenham Hotspur at Wembley on Saturday afternoon, with many feeling that it would be their biggest test yet after wins over West Ham United, Crystal Palace, Brighton and Hove Albion and Leicester City.
However, Jurgen Klopp’s men were scintillating against Mauricio Pochettino’s side, and grabbed the lead when Georgino Wijnaldum’s header beat Michel Vorm in the Spurs goal.
Firmino added a second from close range after the break, and whilst Erik Lamela pulled one back for Spurs, Liverpool held out for a 2-1 victory to keep up their 100% record.
A host of Liverpool players starred for Klopp once again, but striker Firmino was sensational, as he gave Jan Vertonghen and Toby Alderweireld an absolutely torrid time throughout.
The Brazilian was later forced off with an eye injury suffered in a battle with Vertonghen, and ex-Liverpool and Spurs ace Redknapp has now hailed his performance.

Redknapp has told the Daily Mail that Firmino was this weekend’s top performer, not Eden Hazard, as he was Tottenham’s ‘worst nightmare’ on Saturday, comparing his display to that of a hyena whilst claiming he is the ultimate team player.
“The Liverpool forward may not have scored a hat-trick like Eden Hazard, but he was Tottenham’s worst nightmare at Wembley. He was constantly harrying Spurs midfielders and giving them no time on the ball,” said Redknapp. “On Sky Sports, I likened his performance to a hyena: always snarling, full of energy and ready to bite. Time and again at Wembley he pickpocketed Eric Dier and Mousa Dembele to launch counter-attacks.”
“With Spurs’ full backs committed up the pitch, Liverpool were able to break into space at high speed. Firmino’s workrate is infectious. He makes Mo Salah and Sadio Mane work even harder off the ball. Liverpool will be relieved that he is OK after Jan Vertonghen scratched his eye. Firmino is the ultimate team player who sets the tempo for Jurgen Klopp’s side,” he added.
