Leeds United stars Rodrigo and Luke Ayling have sent messages to former Elland Road ace Raphinha on Instagram after the Barcelona winger was called up to the Brazil squad for the 2022 World Cup finals in Qatar.
Raphinha, who left Leeds for Barcelona in the summer transfer window, has been included in the Brazil squad for the upcoming World Cup.
The 25-year-old was superb during his time at Leeds and was one of the best players at the West Yorkshire club.
The Brazilian winger was on the books of Leeds for two seasons.
During that period, Raphinha scored 17 goals and created 22 big chances in 65 Premier League appearances.
The 25-year-old has made six starts and six substitute appearances in La Liga for Barcelona so far this season.
Raphinha has scored one goal and given two assists in those matches.
The winger has also given two assists in five UEFA Champions League matches for Barca this campaign.
Barcelona may be out of the UEFA Champions League this season, but Xavi’s side are doing well in La Liga at the moment.
As for Leeds, they have started to get some form in the Premier League.
