According to The Scottish Sun, Celtic have joined the race to sign Maccabi Petah Tikva winger Liel Abada as they attempt to find a new wide man.
Ange Postecoglou is desperate for Celtic to bring in a new winger, and ex-West Bromwich Albion talent Kyle Edwards one name the Bhoys are considering.
Abada is a new name on the radar though, and Celtic may now look to push through a deal worth around £3.5million as sources in Israel claim the Bhoys are making a move.
Who is Liel Abada?
Abada, 19, has become one of the top talents in Israeli football, smashing 20 goals and 10 assists in 76 games for Maccabi Petah Tikva.
Playing mostly as a right-sided winger, Abada is quick and loves to get in behind defences, causing mayhem with his movement and close control.
His boss Guy Luzon suggested earlier this year that Abada is one of the best finishers he has seen, branding his finishing ‘the highest level there is’ – exciting stuff for Celtic.
Agent Dudu Dahan has major history with Celtic
The report adds that Israeli agent Dudu Dahan has been given the green light to pursue a transfer, and he has major history with Celtic.
Dahan has played a role in the likes of Nir Bitton, Rami Gershon, Efe Ambrose, Hatem And Elhamed, Nir Bitton, Beram Kayal, Ismaila Soro, Amido Balde and Stefan Scepovic joining Celtic in recent memory.
Dahan’s close ties to Celtic may now see Abada head to Glasgow too, and it could help the Bhoys fend off competition for the teenage winger.

Who else wants Abada?
Abada has been linked here, there and everywhere in recent times.
Tuttomercatoweb reported in January that Roma wanted to sign him, whilst Sport5 claimed that a move to Major League Soccer was on the cards after a deal with Dynamo Kiev fell through.
Walla added last month that Olympiacos are keen on Abada too, meaning Celtic will face huge pressure if they want to sign the winger in the coming weeks.
