The Portugal international has had a torrid season at the City Ground.

Nottingham Forest made plenty of poor signings this season, but perhaps none worse than that of Lica.

Lica was ineffective at Forest. He played just seven times and fans of the club were thoroughly disappointed in what they saw from an apparent Portuguese international.

The 28-year-old, who has one cap for the Portugal national team, was eventually sent out on loan to his former club Estoril, where he spent the best years of his career.

He has enjoyed himself back at Estoril and, according to O Jogo, he is in no doubts about his future plans.

He wants to sign for the Portuguese club permanently and has no intention of playing for Nottingham Forest next season.

However Lica, who has a contract at Forest until next summer, may be struggling to get what he wants.

Forest are happy for him to leave, but Estoril are going to struggle financially to make any sort of move both happen in terms of wages. The Forest winger will need to take a substantial pay-cut if he is to get the transfer he wants this summer.

Forest fans will certainly hope he makes the move.
