Reading are looking for their fifth consecutive Championship win.
Liam Moore
Reading defender Liam Moore has been quoted as saying by the club’s official website that he is fully focused on continuing an impressive run of form against Brentford on Tuesday.
Since losing 4-1 to Newcastle United in mid-August, the Royals have avoided defeat in eight consecutive games, including two EFL Cup ties, and are currently fourth in the Championship table.
Roy Beerens’ deflected strike proved to be the difference against table-toppers Huddersfield Town last time out, whose subsequent defeat saw them drop to second.
Moore, however, is refusing to get carried away and insists that the club are thinking only of the next game.

Speaking to the club’s official website, he said: “Our heads are on Brentford now. We used Sunday as a recovery day in preparation for Tuesday and then on Monday we’ll be working on their shape and a bit of video analysis of them, so we’ll be ready to go again come Tuesday night.”
The 23-year-old, who has had two loan spells at Brentford in the past, has looked comfortable and assured in Jaap Stam’s back-line thus far, but knows that the upcoming clash could prove just as difficult as the last.
The Bees may have lost 3-1 to Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday, but Dean Smith’s side know that a win at Griffin Park could see them leapfrog the Royals into the play-off spots.

“The management staff will have already looked at the game and the Brentford videos,” Moore continued. “They’ll be looking at what formations we’ll be needing, focusing on players and tactics.”
Reading have beaten Brentford just once in the last 15 years, losing four of their previous six encounters.
