Liam McCarron has joined Leeds United from Carlisle United in the summer transfer window.

As announced on Leeds’s official website, the Whites have signed McCarron from Carlisle in the summer transfer window.
The 18-year-old winger had put pen to paper on a three-year contract with the West Yorkshire outfit.
Leeds have claimed that they have beaten off competition from a number of Premier League and Championship clubs to bring the winger to Elland Road.
The winger has explained his decision to move to the Whites to Carlisle’s official website.
McCarron told Carlisle’s official website: “I’ve loved my time with Carlisle United and I’m leaving with a very heavy heart.
“I’d like to thank the club for everything they’ve done for me, and it became an even harder decision to make when a new contract offer was mentioned. This opportunity has come up and I just feel it’s one I have to take.
“Carlisle United will always be in my thoughts because I wouldn’t be where I am now without the help and support I’ve received from the staff, the coaches and the fans.”

Good signing for Leeds United?
According to Leeds’s official website, McCarron will be part of the club’s Under-23 side initially, and perhaps in due time, he will get the chance to play for the first team.
Leeds head coach Marcelo Bielsa is known for giving chances to young and promising players, and if the winger does well for the Under-23 side, then he will certainly get some playing time in the Championship.
