Aston Villa, West Bromwich Albion, Derby County and Stoke City are reportedly interested in Barnsley defender Liam Lindsay.

It has been reported by the British tabloid that Stoke City are set to make a move for Lindsay after Italian club Brescia decided to pull out of a potential deal to the £3m transfer fee needed.
Earlier this month, The Sun claimed of interest in the 23-year-old central defender from West Bromwich Albion, Derby and Brentford.
The Sun on Sunday (print edition, page 64, February 2, 2019) reported of interest in the 23-year-old central defender (click here to read more).

Advantage Aston Villa?
If £3m is all it takes to sign Lindsay, then Villa will be in a great position to land the defender, as they will play in the Premier League next season and can easily cough up that amount.
A move to the Villans could also appeal to the former Partick Thistle central defender.
While there will be some concerns whether the youngster will be able to make the step-up from the Championship to the Premier League, for £3m, he will be worth a punt.
