Neil Lennon is planning reunions with a number of his former Celtic favourites at Hibernian – and Liam Henderson will surely receive an invite.

Hibernian manager Neil Lennon has big ambitions ahead of the Edinburgh club’s first season back in the Scottish Premiership after three seasons away.
And it appears that the Northern Irishman is attempting to follow through on his top six hopes by getting the old Celtic band back together. According to the Scottish Sun, Lennon is planning reunions with Anthony Stokes, Shaun Maloney and Kelvin Wilson while also attempting to sign Bhoys-loanee Efe Ambrose on a permanent deal.
Therefore, it appears inevitable that Celtic-lite Hibs will make another move for Liam Henderson sooner rather than later.
Lennon handed the gifted technician his senior bow at the age of just 17 while manager at Parkhead though, since his departure in 2014, Henderson’s career has stuttered at the Champions. He’s only made five Scottish Premiership starts under Brendan Rodgers after being loaned out twice by previous manager Ronny Deila.
Heading for the exit?
Therefore, the Daily Record reports that Celtic may be willing to let the 21-year-old go this summer. They are not short of midfielders after all.

And where better to get his career back on track than Easter Road? Henderson enjoyed a superb season on loan at Hibs in 2015/16, playing a major role as the club won the Scottish Cup for the first time in 114 years.
With the Daily Record reporting that Celtic are determined to sign Rodgers’ favourite John McGinn this summer, perhaps bringing Henderson in the other direction could ease the pain of the Championship Player of the Year’s possible exit.
After all, no one knows and trusts in Henderson’s talent quite like Lennon.
