Liam Gallagher has reacted to Manchester City’s victory at Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium today.

It was a brave performance by Arsenal against the Premier League champions.

But Rodri fired home a 93rd-minute winner to give Manchester City – and Gallagher’s beloved club – a 2-1 win away to the Gunners.

Mikel Arteta’s side played almost half-an-hour of the game with 10 men following a red card for Gabriel, after two bookings – one of which was for dissent.

The visitors got back on level terms after a dubious penalty decision went in City’s favour, which Riyad Mahrez tucked away to cancel out Bukayo Saka’s opener.

There was outrage over the penalty from an Arsenal perspective because in the first half, Martin Odegaard was denied a spot-kick which, despite a VAR check, looked a foul on the Norwegian.

Here’s how the former Oasis frontman reacted to the victory on Twitter, suggesting referee Stuart Atwell was his team’s Man of the Match.

Positives

Despite the heartbreak, there were so many positives for Arsenal today.

Prior to going a man down, the Gunners were far better than City.

Rememeber, we’re talking about the Premier League champions who brought a 10-match winning streak to North London.

The fact that Arsenal outplayed them will have delighted Arteta, who was absent with COVID.

But wherever he was watching, the Spaniard, like every single supporter, will have been so proud.
