Leeds United defender Liam Cooper has taken to Twitter in order to send a message to supporters during the international break.
The Whites have won four of their last five Championship games to sit just four points off a play-off place, and headed into the international break by beating Yorkshire rivals Barnsley 2-1 at Elland Road on Saturday.

Leeds’ improved defensive displays have been praised of late, as summer signings Pontus Janssen and Kyle Bartley have been simply superb for Garry Monk’s men.
Unfortunately for fellow centre back Liam Cooper, their form means it’s difficult to break into the Leeds defence, and he’s played just 45 minutes of league action since the 3-1 defeat to Nottingham Forest on August 27th.

That lack of football means that Cooper has missed out on a call-up to the Scotland squad, but he’s busy preparing for Leeds’ return to action against Derby County a week on Saturday.
Cooper today took to Twitter to send a message to supporters, admitting that it has been a hard few days of training, but he’s now ready to recharge his batteries ahead of that clash with Derby County.

Cooper added that the thinks it’s going to be a massive month for Leeds, as they take on Derby before games with Wigan, Wolves, Norwich and Burton Albion.
