Leeds United drew with Ipswich Town yesterday at Portman Road ending a week in which they also lost to Cardiff City and beat Bristol City.
The game v Ipswich was similar to the one v Cardiff, as Leeds struggled to handle the two sides distinctive playing style.
But one man who got a disproportionate amount of the blame for that game was Liam Cooper. The Scottish defender has struggled to fill the rather large footsteps of Pontus Jansson or Kyle Bartley when called upon this season and has got plenty of stick online for his performances this season.
But he made one group of Leeds fans very happy yesterday, after posing a picture with them. This fan is clearly not a boo boy of the Leeds defender, as can be seen in this Twitter exchange:
Cooper may not have the quality of either Jansson or Bartley but there is one thing Leeds fans can never question him on it’s his heart.
The defender will always do his best even if, at times, that is not enough.
But the next time he gets a chance he will undoubtedly be hoping to prove himself worthy of a Leeds United jersey.
