Leeds United have managed to keep Marcelo Bielsa at Elland Road.

Leeds United today announced the news fans have been waiting for – boss Marcelo Bielsa is staying at Elland Road for another season.
The Whites missed out on automatic promotion after a dismal end to the season, and their woes continued into the Championship playoff semi-finals.
After beating Derby County 1-0 in the first leg, Leeds collapsed in the second leg, losing 4-2 as they missed the opportunity to meet Aston Villa in the playoff final.
Having squandered the chance to return to the Premier League, Leeds fans were left worrying that boss Bielsa would move on, given that it seemed like one big push for the Premier League.
However, Leeds have now confirmed that a clause has been activated for Bielsa to stay for another year, with the Argentinian seemingly ready to mount another push for promotion.

That’s exactly the kind of news Leeds fans were wanting ahead of the summer transfer window and the new season, and Leeds captain Liam Cooper has taken to Twitter to react.
Cooper kept it short and sweet, celebrating Bielsa stating by saying that his commitment is ‘some news that is for us as a club’, with Leeds fans no doubt feeling a similar way.
