Leeds United won against Barnsley in the Championship last weekend.

Thomas Christiansen’s side headed into the match last Saturday afternoon on the back of a 4-1 defeat to Wolverhampton Wanderers away from home at the Molineux Stadium in the league.
First-half goals from Samuel Saiz and Ezgjan Alioski saw the Whites pick up all three points from the encounter.

Saiz has been one of the best players in the Championship so far this season, and it did not come as a surprise to anyone that he once again stole the show.
The 26-year-old, who can operate as an attacking midfielder or as a forward, has scored five goals and provided four assists in 16 Championship starts for the Whites so far this season.
The Spaniard joined Leeds from Huesca in the summer transfer window for a fee reported by The Yorkshire Evening Post to be worth £3 million.

Leeds defender Liam Cooper was impressed with the performance of Saiz and told LUTV: “His quality is unbelievable, and he is going to be a big player for us.”
Meanwhile, Barnsley manager Paul Heckingbottom told Sky Sports about the issue with the substitutes’ bench during the match: “Someone needs to have a bit more class about himself when they score a goal instead of coming in and speaking to our bench. That was all that was.”
