Ben White joined Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United on loan in the summer transfer window.

Cooper, who has been at Leeds since 2014, has been impressed with how White has been playing for the West Yorkshire outfit this season.
The 22-year-old central defender joined the Whites on loan from Premier League club Brighton and Hove Albion in the summer transfer window.
According to WhoScored, White – who can also operate as a right-back – has played 11 times in the Championship for Marcelo Bielsa’s side so far this campaign.
Scotland international central defender Cooper, 28, has raved about his Leeds teammate White.
Leeds Live quotes Cooper as saying about White: “He’s brilliant. He’s still a young lad, but he plays like he’s made 500 career games. That’s the type of confidence he has in himself.
“He’s come into a very good team, a very welcoming team and he’s settled straight away to be honest. He’s been different class.”

Promotion challenge
White has been superb for Leeds so far this season, and the defender is an important reason why the Whites are doing so well in the Championship.
Leeds are fifth in the Championship table at the moment with 20 points from 11 matches, just two points behind leaders West Bromwich Albion and second-placed Nottingham Forest.
