Leeds United are a club on the up at the moment.
Cooper, who has been on the books of Leeds since the summer of 2014 when he joined from Chesterfield for a transfer fee reported by The Yorkshire Evening Post to be worth £600,000, has underlined the change that Radrizzani has brought to the club.
The 28-year-old told The Yorkshire Evening Post: “It’s chalk and cheese. It’s unbelievable. Obviously it was up in the air, the kit wasn’t getting washed at the time and then Izzy wasn’t here making our food.
“It’s crazy when you think back to all those times and we have come a long, long way. Andrea came in with a lot of ambition, he had a vision where he wanted to take the club and the club’s going there.
“The club is in great hands, from the people at the top to the chefs and the people who work in the background. They all have the same aim and that is promotion and if we can do that it will be unbelievable for this city.”
Going places
Leeds have not been in the Premier League since 2004, but things have changed at Elland Road now, and optimism is back among the fans.
The West Yorkshire outfit finished third in the Championship table last season and finished in the playoffs, and they are aiming for automatic promotion to the Premier League this time around.
Radrizzani has been very good for Leeds, as the Italian businessman has made the squad competitive and also made a blockbuster managerial appointment in Marcelo Bielsa in the summer of 2018.
There will be ups and downs for Leeds this season, but the team should be in the top six of the Championship table at least in the end.
