Pierre-Michel Lasogga looks a fine addition to Leeds United’s squad.

Leeds United moved second in the Championship with a 5-0 win over Burton Albion at Elland Road this afternoon.
Thomas Christiansen’s side well and truly put Albion to the sword as first-half goals from Pierre-Michel Lasogga – on his debut following a season-long loan from Hamburg – Kalvin Phillips and Pablo Hernandez helped the hosts into a 3-0 half-time lead.
Kemar Roofe added a fourth not long after the break, before Lasogga further endeared himself to the Leeds faithful by completing his brace before the hour mark.

It was almost a perfect debut for the big German striker, starting ahead of in-form Roofe up front, and centre-back Liam Cooper has summed up his performance with two ‘fire’ emojis.

The future looks very bright for the Whites this season.
So far, Christiansen’s men have won four and drawn two of their six Championship games, scoring 12 and conceding only two.
And Cooper’s centre-half partner Pontus Jansson was also active on social media afterwards, posting a symbolic picture.
