Leeds United defender Liam Cooper has taken to social networking site Twitter to give an update on his injury problem.
Cooper, who can play as a centre-back or as a left-back, is on the sidelines at the moment with a calf issue.
The 24-year-old has yet to feature in pre-season due to the problem, but the defender is confident of a comeback soon.
The former Chesterfield defender has stated on Twitter that he will be back in action soon.
Cooper has also expressed his excitement ahead of the 2016-17 campaign.
Leeds will take on Atalanta at Elland Road this afternoon in what is their final pre-season friendly game.
The West Yorkshire outfit will face Queens Park Rangers away from home at Loftus Road in their opening game of the 2016-17 Championship campaign next weekend.
During the 2014-15 campaign, Cooper scored one goal and created three chances in 29 Championship appearances for Leeds.
The Scotsman had a pass accuracy of 72% and a shot accuracy of 43%, and won 91 headers, 11 dribbles and 40 tackles.
Cooper scored one goal and created 10 chances in 38 league games for the West Yorkshire outfit last season.
The former Hull City man had a pass accuracy of 73% and a shot accuracy of 17%, and won 132 headers, 16 dribbles and 36 tackles.
