Jack Clarke was Leeds United’s best player on Friday night.

Liam Cooper has said on Twitter that Leeds United have a ‘serious player’ on their hands in the form of Jack Clarke.
The Leeds winger won man of the match on Friday as Marcelo Bielsa’s side beat Derby 2-0 at Elland Road.
It was a coming-of-age performance from the 18-year-old and one that was perhaps overshadowed by allegations of spying which dominated headlines before and after the game.
Ian Harte represents the Thorp Arch gem, and centre-back Cooper sent a message to the former Whites left-back about his client.
It looks pretty likely that Clarke is the next big thing at Leeds, following in the footsteps of Lewis Cook, Kalvin Phillips, Charlie Taylor and Ronaldo Vieira in exciting Thorp Arch starlets to make waves in the senior side.
If he continues in the same vein then speculation about his future is completely inevitable, especially if Bielsa’s side don’t win Premier League promotion.
That being said, Clarke would be wise to stay with Bielsa for a while longer. The Argentine coach is clearly taking him to the next level, as he has done with Kemar Roofe for example, and leaving before he’s the finished article is a risky move.
