Liam Cooper has established himself as an important player for Leeds United.

Cooper, who can operate as a centre-back or as a left-back, recently played his 100th game for Leeds.
The former Scotland Under-19 international joined the West Yorkshire outfit from Chesterfield in 2014 for a transfer fee reported by The Star to be worth £750,000.
The 26-year-old defender has said that he wants to play 100 more matches for Leeds. The former Hull City man has also stated that he has improved since his switch to the Whites.

“This is my fourth season at Leeds and it’s crazy how quickly it goes,” Cooper told The Yorkshire Evening Post. “100 games at this unbelievable club, it’s good.
“I have changed a lot, I have come on leaps and bounds as a player and that’s credit to the managers we have had.
“Hopefully we can get the 200 up soon. I am improving every day, I have got good staff around me and long may that continue.”

Cooper signed a new four-year contract with Leeds in August, and it seems that he is committed to the Whites for a long time.
The 26-year-old has improved his game since he has been at Elland Road and is playing quite regularly for the Whites this season.
Leeds will return to action this weekend when they take on Bristol City in the Championship.
