Leeds United signed the two teenagers up to professional contracts.

Two Leeds United talents have officially gone professional.
The Elland Road club announced this afternoon that Stuart McKinstry and Charlie Cresswell had put pen to paper on their very first pro deals.
The two Leeds prospects – both aged 17 – are tied to the club until the year 2022.
Here’s how senior captain Liam Cooper reacted to the double announcement:
McKinstry hasn’t taken long settling into life at Leeds.
The former Motherwell gem only joined the club this past summer after impressing in Scotland, already making an impact in Carlos Corberan’s Under-23 set-up.
The goal now will be to make his first-team debut under Marcelo Bielsa but with Leeds being eliminated from the Carabao Cup, that’s unlikely this season.
That being said, Bielsa is of the view that if you’re good enough, you’re old enough, and we know that he watches reserve games at Thorp Arch.
If McKinstry makes the right noises under Corberan, it’ll alert Bielsa sooner or later.
