Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers won their first match 4-0 with Pedro Caixinha in charge.
Glasgow Rangers youngster Liam Burt has told the Daily Record that training has been focused more on attacking since Pedro Caixinha has taken over.
Caixinha has been at Rangers for two weeks now, and he has made some alterations after taking over.
Burt claims that Caixinha wants Rangers to be more direct with the way that they attack, whereas Mark Warburton preferred a more patient style.
“The training has probably been a bit more attack-orientated since the new manager came in,” Burt said.
“Mark wanted to attack but also keep the ball in the process. The new manager is maybe a bit more direct.
“But the training is sharp. Some of the drills take a bit of getting used to but that’s only because we’re new to them.
“It’ll take a bit of time but I’m sure they’ll just become habit in the space of a few weeks.”
Burt was handed his Rangers debut by Warburton back in 2016, and it remains to be seen whether Caixinha will have as much faith in the youngster.
The Portuguese boss has made a bright start to life at Ibrox so far, after taking charge of his first match two weekends’ ago.
Rangers beat Hamilton 4-0 with Caixinha in the dugout for the first time, and they put in a highly impressive performance.
Rangers are next in action on Saturday, when they take on Motherwell at Ibrox.
