Liam Bridcutt has left Leeds for Nottingham Forest.

Liam Bridcutt has explained his decision to quit Leeds United to join Nottingham Forest.
The Scotland international admitted he simply needed to get back to playing again, having been left out of Leeds’ early season starting line-ups.
Having captained Leeds last season, Bridcutt felt he could not afford to sit on the bench, and is thrilled to link up with Nottingham Forest boss Mark Warburton.

He said: “It feels good and I am happy to be here. I have spoken to the manager and had a good chat and he has brought me here to strengthen the squad and use my experience. The chat I had with him was positive and I am very happy to be here.
“It is something that has been ticking on for the last week or so. It happened quite quickly and I am happy that it got done as quickly as possible. I needed to be back playing regular football and hopefully I can do that.
“Everyone I have spoken to who has worked with the manager hasn’t said a bad word about him and you can see from the results at previous clubs that he has a good track record. I think as a manager he is an honest guy and the way he wants to play suits me massively.”

Bridcutt was only on a two-year deal at Leeds after signing permanently from Sunderland last summer.
This put Leeds under pressure to cash in rather than wait and see if he could force his way back into their starting line up.
The Whites are overloaded with midfielders, and Bridcutt could get an early chance to test himself against them when Forest take on Leeds this weekend at the City Ground.
