Former Liverpool striker Neil Mellor has hailed Conor Bradley after he clinched an award whilst on loan at Bolton Wanderers.

Liverpool landed a new right back last summer as youngster Calvin Ramsay arrived from Aberdeen.

The Scot has been limited to just two first-team appearances this season with injuries a major problem.

Still, Liverpool’s move to sign Ramsay meant an opportunity for Bradley to go out and play first-team games on loan.

Bolton Wanderers pounced, securing Bradley for the season as Ian Evatt looked to build a promotion-winning team.

The Northern Ireland international had shown promise in a few cup appearances fro Liverpool and he has impressed for Bolton.

Bradley has racked up seven goals and six assists in 51 games for the Trotters this season.

The 19-year-old could now help Bolton return to the Championship through the League One playoffs.

Conor Bradley wins award at Bolton Wanderers

Liverpool will be delighted with Bradley’s progress and even more so now he has won an award at Bolton.

Bradley has won the Players’ Player of the Season award at Bolton after a superb campaign.

Neil Mellor, the former Liverpool striker and current pundit for LFCTV and Sky Sports, has taken to Twitter to share his verdict.

Mellor reacted to Bradley’s award by stating that this has been a ‘brilliant’ loan season for the right back.

Mellor even predicts a ‘big future ahead’ for Bradley, seemingly seeing big things for him at Liverpool.

Life as a young right back at Liverpool will always be difficult given the presence of Trent Alexander-Arnold but the hope is that Bradley can take his progress this season into next term and beyond.
