Liverpool midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai has been praised by pundit Neil Mellor following his display against Nottingham Forest on Sunday.
Dominik Szobsozlai is impossible to ignore in the Liverpool side having made a big impact this season.
That is the view of former Liverpool striker and current LFC TV pundit Neil Mellor, who has been quoted by Liverpool’s official website.
Liverpool picked up another win on Sunday afternoon with Diogo Jota opening the scoring in a 3-0 Anfield victory.
Szoboszlai then set up Nunez for 2-0 before his long pass found Mohamed Salah for a third, aided by some dreadful Forest defending.

Szoboszlai is making an enormous impact for Liverpool and the £60million paid to RB Leipzig this past summer looks more and more like a bargain.
Only three Premier League players – Bruno Fernandes, Kieran Trippier and James Maddison – have recorded more key passes than the Hungarian this season.
Szoboszlai isn’t just a creative though, as his defensive work rate and his ability to drive with the ball have added something different to the Liverpool midfield.
Former Reds striker Mellor has now praised Szoboszlai during his duties as an LFC TV pundit.
Mellor noted that everybody talks about Szoboszlai all the time but he just can’t be ignored because of how much he does for the Liverpool side.
Mellor praised Szoboszlai’s assist for Salah whilst highlighting that he was second behind only Darwin Nunez for forward sprints against Forest.
“We talk about Szoboszlai every game, but we can’t ignore him as he has so much involvement. The assist for Mo Salah was absolutely brilliant, he just makes himself available for his teammates,” said Mellor.
“What I really like about him is he is such a strong runner with the ball and he sets us off on the attack, only Darwin Nunez beat him for sprints forward on the day. He just reads the game really well, intercepts really well and he fits what Liverpool is all about, he is influencing games really well,” he added.
My view: Szoboszlai can still get even better
The performances of Szoboszlai this season will be striking fear into Premier League defences, who will appreciate the threat he can provide as a goalscorer and creator.
The scary thing is that Szoboszlai can get even better over the coming years at Liverpool.
Szoboszlai has only just turned 23, meaning his best years should still be ahead of him.
The Reds were wise to get in and pay his release clause before other clubs joined the race, as Liverpool appear to have their next midfield star locked down for years to come.
If Szoboszlai keeps impressing as he is, he could be viewed among Europe’s elite midfielders very, very soon.
