Lewis Walters will remain at Championship outfit Leeds United for the 2015-16 season.
Lewis Walters has taken to social media to comment on his new contract at Leeds United.
The youngster has agreed to sign a new one-year deal with the West Yorkshire outfit and will remain at Elland Road for the 2015-16 season.
The 20-year-old has not made his first-team debut for the Whites yet, but the forward is rated highly and is expected to make a breakthrough next season.
Walters is delighted to have committed his future to Championship outfit Leeds and has posted the following message on Instagram.
Walters added on Leeds’s official website: “It feels great to sign a new deal because last year wasn’t the best year for me. I feel like this year I can start afresh and kick on and hopefully get into the team.”
The 20-year-old is a versatile player who can play as a central striker or out wide, and was part of Leeds’ travelling squad on a number of occasions in the recently concluded 2014-15 campaign.
Walters also featured 10 times for Leeds’ Under-21s, scoring three goals in the process.
