Lewis Morgan will join up with Brendan Rodgers at Celtic next season.

Morgan joined Celtic in the January transfer window, but he was immediately loaned back to St. Mirren.
The youngster will not join up with the Bhoys until next campaign, but he has been eager to ensure that Rodgers keeps him in mind.
And Morgan says that he congratulated the Celtic boss on his side’s victory over Rangers last weekend.

“I’ve kept in contact with the manager,” he said. “I texted to congratulate on their success last Sunday and it was vice-versa. Hopefully, I can rest up and relax in the summer.
“I’m going into Celtic to get assessed so that they can prepare a pre-season, but I’m not sure what is happening with training. I think they are keen for me to rest up.
“It’s been a long season playing each week and they want to make sure I am going to be ready for next year.”
Celtic smashed Rangers 5-0 in the Old Firm derby in their last match, and Morgan faces a tough task to break into Rodgers’ starting line-up.

The left-winger has hit 18 goals in 42 matches this season, but he will be making a big step up when he joins up with Celtic.
Morgan could offer Rodgers yet another attacking option, as the Bhoys aim to continue to dominate Scottish football.
Morgan played his last match for St. Mirren on Saturday, when his side were beaten 1-0 by Falkirk.
