Celtic have a huge Europa League clash on the horizon, and they will need their fans to be in full voice if they are to take maximum points from the game.
Celtic youngster Lewis Morgan sat down for an exclusive interview with the club’s official website, ahead of his side’s Europa League clash with RB Leipzig on Thursday night, and insisted that the club’s superb support doesn’t get spoke about enough.
The 22-year-old joined the Hoops from St Mirren in January of this year, and he has gone on to rack up nine appearances in all competitions thus far.
Morgan is a left winger by trade, and he might find that he has more opportunities to succeed this season, what with Daniel Arzani being ruled out for the entire campaign.
Celtic must win their clash with Bundesliga outfit RB Leipzig on Thursday, and they will have to rely on their home support if they are to do just that.
And Morgan told the club’s official website how the Hoops supporters do not receive enough credit:
“The crowd at Celtic Park is so important, not just in Europe, but domestically as well. Having the support we’ve had is also a big thing that doesn’t get spoken about enough in this recent run we’re on – the home and away fans have been great.”
Parkhead will surely be rocking when Leipzig roll into town, and if Celtic do manage to win the game, their hopes of qualifying for the knock-out stages of the competition will be very much alive.
