It has been suggested the former Rangers midfielder could return to Ibrox under Steven Gerrard.

Just days after being linked with moves to Leeds United and Glasgow Rangers, Lewis Macleod found himself dropped from Brentford’s squad.
The Scottish Sun has credited both clubs with interest in the former Ibrox midfielder, who it claimed has turned down a new contract with Leeds’ Championship rivals.
The Brentford manager, Thomas Frank, later insisted however that the club remain in talks with Macleod, but the 24-year-old was nowhere to be seen as the Bees beat Millwall 2-0 on Saturday.
Macleod, whose deal expires at the end of the campaign, has started 10 of Brentford’s league matches this season, but appeared as a late substitute in each of their previous two before Millwall.

What remains unclear, however, is whether the Leeds and Rangers linked player was omitted for contractual, tactical or fitness reasons.
Macleod also missed Sunday’s friendly between Brentford B and Rangers, which ended in a 3-2 win for the Ibrox side.
Would Macleod be a good addition for Leeds United / Glasgow Rangers?
