Sunderland have signed Lewis Grabban on a season long loan from Bournemouth.
Grabban has spent the bulk of his career down south, after growing up in London.
However, when the opportunity to join Sunderland came up, the 29-year-old jumped at the chance.
And Grabban said: “When the club came in I wanted the move, I didn’t need anyone to convince me.

“When I spoke to the manager he did say that for someone from the South to be happy to come up all this way, that shows a lot. It was pouring yesterday when I got here so I know what to expect!”
Grabban is now set to spend the season on loan at Sunderland from Bournemouth.
The former Norwich City man will have a key role to play up-front in Grayson’s side, as they look to replace the goals of Jermain Defoe.
Sunderland have made a great deal of changes already this summer, and more alterations are expected to be made before the season starts.
The Black Cats suffered a disastrous campaign last time around, and are desperate to find a winning formula again.
