Lewis Grabban has joined Nottingham Forest.
After spending last season on loan first at Sunderland and then at Aston Villa, Lewis Grabban has joined Nottingham Forest from Bournemouth in the summer transfer window.
As announced on Forest’s official website, Championship side Forest have signed Grabban from Premier League club Bournemouth on a four-year contract.
According to BBC Sport, the Reds have had to pay the Cherries a transfer fee of £6 million in order to secure the services of the 30-year-old, who can operate as a forward or as a winger.
Grabban scored 12 goals in 18 Championship starts for Sunderland in the first half of the 2017-18 campaign, and found the net eight times in 13 league starts for Villa during the second half.
The former Millwall forward helped Steve Bruce’s Villa to the Championship playoff last season, and the 30-year-old will be aiming to fire Forest to promotion to the Premier League.
Grabban has taken to social networking site Twitter to express his delight at joining Forest from Bournemouth, and the forward has also sent a message to Villa.
