The former Leeds midfielder has been speaking of his happiness playing in the Premier League.

Leeds United look set to lose another top talent this summer with Charlie Taylor set to depart. Of course, fans at Elland Road are used to their young players leaving the club before fully realising their potential.
Last summer it was midfielder Lewis Cook who made a move away from Leeds, joining Premier League side AFC Bournemouth in a deal reported by The Guardian to be worth an initial £6 million – potentially rising to £10 million.
This week he has been discussing his first season in the Premier League. It has been a struggle for the player, who has suffered with injuries this term.
But speaking to the Bournemouth Echo this week he made it clear that his troubles have not dampened his experience in the top-flight, with words that will not give confidence to LEeds fans regarding Taylor’s future:
“It has always been my dream to play in the Premier League, so whatever happens for me I will take it. It has been tough but I have really enjoyed it.
“I never doubted myself.

“You have to be confident in your ability – you wouldn’t be here if you weren’t good enough.
“You have to be confident and do your best. And enjoy it, because you’re playing in the Premier League and it won’t get much better than that.”

Hearing his former team-mate speak so highly of playing in the Premier League, despite his struggles off the pitch, will certainly inspire Taylor to continue in his pursuit of playing top-flight football next term.
So far the contract rebel has demonstrated he is willing to make that move happen at any cost. It is certainly looking like he will follow Cook’s lead and head to the Premier League this summer.
