If there’s one thing we know about Leeds United supporters, they absolutely adore their club.
Even in the Championship, Elland Road wasn’t a happy hunting ground for many-a-second tier club and it was because of the atmosphere drummed up by the home fans.
But even when it comes to Under-23 outings, the Leeds faithful are class.
The Whites announced via their official Twitter account that 18,000 tickets have been sold for a Premier League 2 clash against Manchester City later tonight.
Lewis Bate, who joined Leeds’ academy from Chelsea last summer, has been an ever-present figure in the Under-23 squad this season.

Yep, ‘class’ is most certainly the optimum word when it comes to describing Leeds supporters.
To contextualise their support, over half of Elland Road will be full and when we’re talking about non-senior matches, well that’s certainly something special.
What’s better is that the fanbase are inadvertently giving the Whites stars of tomorrow the impetus needed to make the leap from reserve football to the senior set-up.
It gives the youngsters a taste of senior football and they’ll only want more and more.
