Leeds United midfielder Lewis Baker was handed another start in the Carabao Cup although this one did not go as planned.
In the previous round Baker provided an assist for Samu Saiz against Bolton in a 2-1 win.
He did not bring the same influence last night as they lost 2-0 to Preston.
Baker sent a message after the game on Twitter, lamenting Leeds’ defeat while looking ahead to their next league game.
Leeds face Middlesbrough on Friday night, a game between two teams at the top of the Championship.
Baker was on loan at Middlesbrough last season and will be determined to see his new side come out on top.
He is likely to be on the bench for that fixture, as he did not really do enough to seize his chance against Preston, but he will be ready if called upon by manager Marcelo Bielsa.
