Leeds United star Barry Douglas received the news he was dreading this week.
A knee injury has ruled him out for the rest of the season, the club confirmed.
Douglas has received a number of messages of support from Leeds stars.
Ex-teammate Lewis Baker also sent him a note of support, via Instagram.
Baker and Douglas were among the small group of players Leeds signed in the summer.
Douglas’ role is now over for the season, while Baker’s ended in January.
He cut short his spell at Elland Road to join relegation battlers Reading, where he has been playing regularly, having failed to establish himself at Leeds.
