Reading midfielder is picking up form.

Leeds fans were bemused by Lewis Baker’s decision to walk out on the promotion contenders for a relegation battle with Reading.
Especially so when Leeds walked all over Reading in a Championship game in March.
Yet for Baker, the decision was easy. It was all about development. He was not playing regularly at Leeds, and Reading gave him the chance do that.
Baker’s promising career has already been delayed, and even wasted by poor loan spells. He clearly felt his situation at Leeds was going to get better.
After just two starts for Leeds, he has now made 11 already for Reading.
Now on a weekend where Leeds lost to Birmingham, Baker scored his first goal of the season for Reading.

It was not enough to prevent Reading slipping to defeat to Hull. And it leaves the Royals in a precarious position in 21st.
For Baker, his individual milestone was a personal success.
The 23-year-old is still viewed fondly by Chelsea fans, where he remains under contract.
Despite a disappointing loan at Middlesbrough a year ago, and Leeds this year, Blues fans are encouraged by his sign of progress.
