Leeds United are reportedly interested in signing Patrick Bamford.

According to the Yorkshire Evening Post, Leeds United are lining up a move for Middlesbrough hitman Patrick Bamford.
Leeds are under pressure to sign a Championship-hardened striker this summer after moves for Abel Hernandez and Matej Vydra broke down.
The 24-year-old managed 11 goals in 23 league starts last season – including a hat-trick against the Whites in a 3-0 victory at The Riverside Stadium in March.
Bamford would be a major improvement on United’s current options – and the reported pursuit might just have the backing of another Leeds signing.
Lewis Baker, who joined the Elland Road side on a season-long loan from Chelsea, was on the books in West London around the same time as him, and later played alongside the Boro star last season.
The 23-year-old joined MK Dons on loan in 2015, following in the footsteps of Bamford who had also joined the Dons on a temporary move from Chelsea, and Baker referred to him as a “great player”.
He told MK Dons’ website at the time: “Patrick’s a great player and a great person.
“He’s now in the Championship and I personally think he could play in the Premier League. He came here and did really well and hopefully I can too.”
Baker, who earns £20,000 per week with Chelsea [Spotrac], has shown promising early signs of what he could bring to the table in West Yorkshire and if Bamford is as good as he reckons, signing him wouldn’t go amiss.
