Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha is reportedly wanted by Tottenham Hotspur in the summer transfer window.

Wilfried Zaha of Crystal Palace is awarded with the EA SPORTS Player of the Month for April on May 8, 2018 in Beckenham, England.

According to The Daily Star, Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Wilfried Zaha in the summer transfer window, but Crystal Palace assistant manager Ray Lewington seems to be confident that the 25-year-old winger will stay at Selhurst Park.

Former Manchester United winger Zaha is high on Tottenham manager Maurico Pochettino’s summer shopping list, according to The Daily Star.

The report has also claimed that the Ivory Coast international winger will be offered a new contract by Palace in order to keep him at the London club.

Lewington told The Daily Star: “Wilf’s so important to this club. The fans love him. He’s the darling of the crowd. And certainly for the time being he wants to play for us.”

Hard for Tottenham Hotspur

The confidence of Lewington in retaining the services of Zaha for next season suggests that Tottenham will find it hard to sign the 25-year-old.

The winger struggled during his time at United, but the Ivory Coast international has been a success at Palace.

Zaha is loved by the Palace fans and is a key figure in the team, and the winger may not be looking to leave Selhurst Park in the summer transfer window.

However, things change very quickly in transfer windows, and Palace could find it hard to refuse a big offer rom Tottenham.
