Coyle played a key role in Leeds keeping a clean sheet against Derby County, in just his fourth appearance of the season, just his second in the Championship.

The full-back made three interceptions and blocked one shot, while completing 70 per cent of his passes.
Coyle made his breakthrough last season, but never really had a run in the side, and was even picked on the right wing, a position he looked uncomfortable in.
He only other appearance in the league for the Whites this season was the 3-0 loss to QPR on the opening day of the campaign.

Leeds subsequently bought Luke Ayling who has not put a foot wrong at right-back, leaving even the excellent Berardi on the outside looking in.
Coyle missed opportunities through injury, but now circumstances have provided him with another chance.
The 21-year-old has plenty to learn, but he showed on Friday that he can step up when required.
Surely he is now back in manager Garry Monk’s good books, and further opportunities should come his way. After a tough start to the season, Coyle is back on track.
