Lewie Coyle left Leeds United on loan this past summer.

Lewie Coyle has told Fleetwood Today that he is happy to know that Leeds United are still monitoring his progress on loan in League One.
The 21-year-old defender joined Fleetwood Town on a season-long loan in the summer and now plays under former Leeds manager Uwe Rosler.
The Yorkshire club obviously like the look of the young right-back, who signed a new three-year contract just before exiting in the summer.

Coyle, who made his debut under Steve Evans almost two years ago, is an exciting prospect and the youngster told Fleetwood Today that his parent club are in constant communication with him to see how it’s going.
The Thorp Arch academy product, who has started 10 out of 11 League One games this season, said “They have been in contact a lot. It’s nice to know that they are still interested and keen to keep track on my progress.”

Luke Ayling and Gaetano Berardi’s presence at Leeds made it very difficult for Coyle this season in regards to first-team opportunities, so leaving was the right choice.
But long term he remains a big talent and it will be interesting to see how his United career goes when he returns in the summer.
Coyle has made 14 Championship appearances for United and 11 of those came under Evans during the 2015-16 campaign.
