Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with Napoli’s Maurizio Sarri.

According to a report from Tutto Mercato Web, Tottenham Hotspur are one of the teams to be keeping an eye on the situation of Napoli manager Maurizio Sarri.
Sarri, 59, left Empoli to become Napoli boss back in 2015, and has earned huge plaudits for his 4-3-3 system and the intricate team moves which have swept Serie A teams aside.
Napoli currently second in the Serie A table, two points behind leaders Juventus as they challenge for the title in the final weeks of the season, but there are concerns over Sarri’s future.

The Italian has an €8million (£7million) release clause in his contract which can be exercised before May 31st, and Napoli are concerned that he could decide to leave regardless this summer, with a host of clubs keen.
Levy’s ‘in case’ plan?
Chelsea, Monaco, Paris Saint-Germain and Zenit St Petersburg are all named as clubs who want to land Sarri this summer, whilst Tottenham Hotspur are even mentioned.

It’s no great secret that Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is attracting admiring glances from around Europe, having worked wonders with Tottenham since his appointment in 2014.
Bayern Munich, PSG and Real Madrid are just three of the teams to have been linked with Pochettino, and chairman Daniel Levy may have a list of potential targets to go for if the Argentinian does leave this summer.
That still seems unlikely though, and he surely won’t have gone before the end of May if he was to leave, making a move for Sarri seem almost unfathomable for Spurs – but given Napoli’s style of play, he should a target for Tottenham in a ‘worst case scenario’ situation where Pochettino leaves.
