Some Tottenham fans on social media have been reacting to Fabrizio Romano’s update on Spurs target Christian Eriksen.

Romano has hinted a number of times that Eriksen will be on the move this month, but now he has delivered a huge update on the situation.

Indeed, the Italian journalist has outlined just how much It would cost Tottenham in terms of wages, while also claiming that Jose Mourinho would like to see him come back on loan.

As you can probably imagine, this has caused something of a stir amongst the online fanbase.

Indeed, Spurs fans on Twitter were sent into a frenzy as a number of supporters clamoured for Eriksen to come back to the club.

One fan in particular raised an interesting point with one of his comments, claiming that Eriksen’s return could spell trouble for Tanguy Ndombele, and with Mourinho reportedly wanting Eriksen back, you have to wonder what the future holds for Ndombele at Tottenham.

Another man this could potentially affect is Dele Alli. One fan claimed that Eriksen would be the perfect replacement for Alli, but of course, it remains to be seen whether or not Alli will end up moving in any case, with Daniel Levy reportedly blocking an exit for the Englishman.

Here’s what Spurs fans have been saying about Romano’s Eriksen update.
