Joe Hart has only been a Tottenham Hotspur player for a few months.
Spurs signed the 33-year-old goalkepeer on a Bosman during the summer after he was released by Burnley.
Hart, who was Manchester City’s first-choice stopper once upon a time, is one of several high-profile players to join Tottenham recently.
Chairman Daniel Levy has also taken Gareth Bale, Carlos Vinicius, Matt Doherty, Sergio Reguilon and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg to North London as of late.
Jose Mourinho’s side thumped Manchester United 6-1 at Old Trafford prior to the international break – and that’s without Bale, who hasn’t made his second debut yet.
And Hart has told Tottenham’s official website that this squad truly believes that they’re capable of something really special.
He said: “It’s a powerful squad, a squad that is starting to realise how special it could be. It’s a squad where it’s been proved already that everyone has a role to play, whatever that may be. If we’re going to be successful, we need to get our heads around that.”
Is Hart right? Well it’s difficult to argue with him on this one.
The Lilywhites have scored 22 goals in their last five games across Premier League and Europa League competition, making them a force to be reckoned with as an attacking quantity.
It’s ever so difficult for Tottenham fans not to get excited by this squad’s potential and with Bale yet to showcase his qualities again, Mourinho could have one hell of a group of players.
