Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly keen on Borussia Dortmund talent Christian Pulisic.

Tottenham Hotspur will be in the market for major signings this summer, and another name has been linked with the club in Borussia Dortmund star Christian Pulisic.

With a move to their new stadium imminent and another Champions League campaign on the horizon, fans are hoping for big additions – and Pulisic is now a target with Fulham’s Ryan Sessegnon likely to stay at Craven Cottage, according to The Telegraph.

Pulisic, 19, has become one of the top young stars in Europe since his 2015 move to Borussia Dortmund, and a host of English clubs have been linked with signing him, including Liverpool.

Now though, Spurs are though to be plotting a £50million raid for the Unites States international, and not only would Mauricio Pochettino love having another talented attacker at his disposal, chairman Daniel Levy should also be on board with the move – even with such a heavy outlay.

Pulisic is the undoubted poster boy of football in the United States, and a number of Borussia Dortmund fan groups have been set up across the country since the emergence of the playmaker.

Whoever signs Pulisic will not only be signing a talented player, but also a marketing gem. Fans go mad for Pulisic in the United States, and Tottenham certainly have reason to grow into that market even beyond their regular pre-season trips across the pond.

Tottenham Hotspur Chairman Daniel Levy looks on during the Barclays Premier League match between Tottenham Hotspur and Everton at White Hart Lane on August 29, 2015 in London, England.

With a deal signed for NFL games to be played at their new stadium, Tottenham already have links to the United States, and Pulisic would only strengthen their brand and drive in huge revenue from a number of streams; shirt sales, subscriptions and other merchandise would all come into effect.

Tottenham benefited from a similar move with Son Heung-min in 2015, as Spurs themselves reported on the creation of a South Korea Supporters Club off the back of Son’s arrival, with at least 10,000 members already signed up, enhancing Tottenham’s standing in Asia – and Levy should be able to see that signing Pulisic will bring great money into the club after splashing the cash to land him.
