Tottenham Hotspur fans have suggested that they should move for Ollie Watkins, following Brentford’s failure to earn promotion last night.

Brentford lost 2-1 to Fulham at Wembley in the play off final, and it is now thought that their squad could be raided over the summer.

With Tottenham on the look out for cover for Harry Kane, there is a feeling that Watkins could make a good addition.

And after Brentford’s play off failure, Spurs supporters are keen on seeing the striker snapped up.

BBC Sport have reported that Watkins is now available for £18 million, after the Bees’ failure to earn promotion.

That could prove to be a bargain for any buyer, as the striker scored 25 goals in 46 games over the past campaign.

If he was to move to Spurs he could struggle for regular starts, but the promise of playing for such an illustrious club could be tempting for a player who has never played in the Premier League before.
