Tottenham Hotspur fans have been left annoyed over reports that Daniel Levy has been aggravated by Jose Mourinho’s treatment of Dele Alli.
EuroSport claims that Alli is one of Levy’s favourite Tottenham players, and the fact that he has often been overlooked this season has reportedly ‘frustrated’ the Spurs chairman.
But Tottenham fans are questioning why Levy is having an opinion on team selection matters at all.
The good news for Levy is that Mourinho is seemingly more willing to give Alli chances now.
While the attacking midfielder has not started, he has been used off the bench in Tottenham’s last two matches, as he comes back from injury.
Alli has only made a limited impact on the pitch, but he still is looking to develop some match sharpness after a long lay-off and so much time out of the team this season.
Alli could actually start this evening, when Spurs take on Wolfsberger AC in the Europa League.
