There’s a lot of exciting Tottenham Hotspur transfer stories going around at the moment.

In addition to already signing three players this summer, Tottenham are nowhere near finished their spending.

Antonio Conte and Fabio Paratici are challenging Arsenal for the likes of Gabriel Jesus and Raphinha to name but a few, and AS in Spain reported on Friday that there’s optimism from within Spurs that they could convince the Manchester City hitman to snub the Gunners in favour of joining them.

In any case, there’s many reasons to be cheerful if you’re a Lilywhite.

But a massive one has been reported by Football London this morning.

According to Football London, Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy has approved £100 million to be spent on transfers this summer in a decision that Conte will absolutely love, given that was the reason why he could’ve potentially walked away from North London already.

It was widely reported that ENIC injected £150 million into the club and the fact that Levy has sanctioned two-thirds of that to be spent on transfers is very exciting and somewhat unprecedented.

This is a club that’s really going for it now under Conte and although it’s been a fascinating window so far, bringing Ivan Perisic, Fraser Forster and Yves Bissouma to North London, you get the impression that it’s their completed business is only the tip of the iceberg.
