Tottenham Hotspur may have landed one winger in January by snapping up Paris Saint-Germain’s Lucas Moura, but they are already being linked with a move for another wide man ahead of the summer window.

Spurs are in the midst of a busy period as they pursue a top four place in the Premier League, continue their quest for the FA Cup and prepare for the second leg of their Champions League clash with Juventus, but speculation is already ramping up about the summer.

Tottenham may be looking for signings to mark their move into their new stadium, and the latest rumours are linking a big-name player with a shock summer move to North London.

The Mirror claim that Tottenham are interested in signing Borussia Dortmund winger Marco Reus, and could launch a big summer bid as the German stalls on a new contract with hometown club Dortmund.

Reus, 28, has hit 91 goals in 193 games for Dortmund since re-signing for the club from Borussia Monchengladbach in 2012, whilst also becoming a key player for the German national team as well.

With Liverpool – managed by Reus’ former Dortmund boss Jurgen Klopp – also thought to be keen, Reus could be heading to the Premier League this summer, and Spurs fans are offering a mixed reaction on Twitter.

Some fans believe that Reus would be an ‘amazing signing’ for Spurs, urging chairman Daniel Levy to get a deal done, with a number of fans loving the idea of snapping him up.

However, others have major concerns over Reus’ famed injury problems, suggesting that the club can’t land themselves with another Ledley King – and some would even rather have Dortmund teammate Christian Pulisic than Reus, even if he would cost more.
