Sheffield Wednesday are said to be considering getting rid of Jos Luhukay, ahead of the January transfer window.

Wednesday are due to offload Westwood to Leeds United, and it could be one of Jos Luhukay’s final transfer decisions.
Luhukay is clinging on to his job at Wednesday, but it appears almost inevitable that he will leave Hillsborough sooner rather than later.
The Dutch boss has lost large sections of the Owls crowd, and it is hard to see him ever recovering from the current situation.
However, if he does get rid of Westwood before he departs, then Luhukay could be impacting on Wednesday’s chances for the rest of the season.

Westwood has been frozen out at Hillsborough so far this season, but he arguably is their best goalkeeping option.
The experienced stopper has proven before that he is a reliable performer in the Championship.
And if Wednesday do appoint a new manager, he may wish Westwood was still around when he arrives.
