Torino President Urbano Cairo has pulled a U-turn and will now listen to offers for reported West Ham United and Tottenham Hotspur transfer target Gleison Bremer during January.
Cairo was hellbent on retaining the Brazilian past the mid-season market up until Tuesday. But the Toro chief has now warmed to the centre-half leaving, via quotes by Calciomercato.
Bremer is highly in-demand, with clubs in England and Italy fawning over his services ahead of the January sales. Inter Milan and Lazio are monitoring his situation closely, but trail AC Milan with the Rossoneri currently on pole position.

AC Milan are very interested in signing Bremer as they seek a replacement for Simon Kjaer. The Dane has sustained a likely season-ending knee injury, forcing Technical Director Paolo Maldini to rethink his January plans and either acquire a stop-gap or long-term solution.
The Rossoneri see Bremer as a suitable low-cost option as Cairo is likely to demand around €15m (£13m) to sell. But until Tuesday, was showing strong resistance to cashing in.
Cairo pulls U-turn on Bremer transfer stance
AC Milan are now ready to accelerate their pursuit of Bremer, with Cairo pulling a U-turn on Torino’s reluctance to sell the defender during the mid-season market.
“Can Bremer leave Turin in January? Let’s see,” Cairo said. “We’ll talk about it at the right time.”
But Cairo warming to Bremer departing will pique West Ham and Tottenham’s attention, as they also look to secure a transfer for the Brazilian centre-back next year.

West Ham and Tottenham land Bremer transfer boost
Reports by Torino Granata have claimed Tottenham are willing to pay €20m (£17m) to seal a January transfer for Bremer. Antonio Conte is driving Spurs’ pursuit of the 24-year-old, who is proving to be one of Serie A’s best defenders, despite playing at a low-ranking side.
Torino sit just 13th in the table after 17 games, with six wins and seven defeats. But Bremer has stood out with his physical and technical skill under head coach Ivan Juric.
So much so that Calciomercato.it also report West Ham view Bremer as a January transfer option. The Hammers need to sign another centre-back in January after long-term injuries to Kurt Zouma and Angelo Ogbonna.
But the price Tottenham or West Ham must pay Torino for Bremer’s transfer remains in some doubt. Calciomercato have previously cited a €25m (£21m) valuation while noting Cairo’s reluctance to sell his €500k-a-year (£8k-a/w) enforcer.
